Anders Johansson is Tycoon Online's creator, and spent time and effort making the game what it has become - a big venue for fun and social interaction. In 2007, he left the administration of Tycoon Online to Gunzour Yellowknife, who is now the developer of the game.

AAA is an abbreviation of "Almighty Administrator Anders". Anders Johansson created Tycoon Online, and was its first owner and primary developer for six years. Most of the basic concepts in the game were introduced by AAA.

Little known fact: map section (X:6, Y:7) in each city is a city (gray) section. It will take several hundred active companies in a city to open that section but, if it ever happens, players will see the road net spelling "AAA" in the middle of the section map.
